Bienvenue dans ma vie.
A sommelier is a french term for wine steward, who “is a trained and knowledgeable wine professional, normally working in fine restaurants, who specialises in all aspects of wine service as well as wine and food pairing”.
Opening the evening with a bottle of champagne, the four of us decided to try one of its “Exquisite matches” menus called Discovery – a four-course surprise menu with wines included (appetizer, starter, main course and dessert with a tasting of 4 wines). Other menus are called Temptation and Prestige.
The service is excellent with English speaking staff explaining every wine that goes with the food.
