PISTA SA PARIS is a yearly event organised by the community leaders to celebrate Pinoy’s fiesta season. TFC sponsored this year’s event as part of the TFC Fiesta Caravan 2013 in the following cities – Yorkshire, Morden, Rome, Copenhagen, Denmark, Paris and Dublin.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the following:
Sheryl Chua – Hairstylist
Sheryl added glamour to my look by styling my hair with soft curls on one-side as I did my own super light make-up given the limited preparation time and extremely hot weather. You may visit her website at www.sherylchua.com.
Justine Palma – Fashion Stylist
This young fashionista took me shopping in Nice days before the event. She chose this classic cut white dress with handwoven beads paired with 4″ light peach high heels – both from Zara. I matched the outfit with my favourite capiz bangle (as seen on my previous post) and simple pearl earrings.
TFCKat Grand Finalists 2013 – Talented Aspiring Stars
I would like to thank the six talented contestants who made Pista sa Paris even more exciting – Alma, Ruby, Kevin, Zaldy, Ashley and congratulations to Vanessa Monot for winning this year’s TFCKat. She will be representing France in the upcoming TFCKat European Finals at the biggest London Barrio Fiesta on July 20-21.
Paulo Avelino and TFC Europe – In the service of the Filipinos
Thanks to TFC for bringing Paulo Avelino as its way of giving back to the community – summer has just gone hotter! Thanks to the coolest boss, Luis Bariuan (ikaw na!), to JJ Henson (Paulo’s RM) and to the sponsors – SMDC (The Good Guys) and Megaworld International (The Best Selling Homes in the Philippines). I would also like to thank CFC-ANCOP c/o Ilyo Mendoza and Filcom c/o Ralph Cabaron for helping us organise TFCKat and TFC Fiesta Caravan.
Kapamilya in Paris – The Team
Pista sa Paris is something that individuals, couple or family can enjoy. Thanks mucho to my TFC team in Paris – Mar, Anna, Lani, Bernie, Jen, Santos, Bong and Leo for showing what bayanihan means. Thanks to those who brought Pinoy foods (esp Cora and Fred / Linda and Ed), to those who extended their helping hand (Cesar, Uno, Diz & Nix, Marilyn, Jill and y’know who you are) and to all our Kapamilyas during the event.
Mark Baron – all-around support (s’ya na!)
And of course, thanks again to my ever supportive husband. Love you b.
To God be the glory! xoxo
